優れた機械的特性。引張強度80 MPa、曲げ強度130 MPa、耐衝撃性140 kJ/m²を備えたPEEKは、金属に匹敵する性能を発揮します。軽量化によるメリットを提供し、燃料消費量と排出量を削減するため、航空宇宙、自動車、船舶、医療、エネルギー分野の用途に最適です。
優れた難燃性（UL94 V-0）。PEEKは難燃性を維持するため、高温環境に適しています。短時間であれば260°Cまで、連続使用では240°Cまでの温度に耐えられます。層間の強固な結合により、優れた寸法精度とZ方向強度を実現します。
耐薬品性。PEEKは、オイル、自動車用フルード、ハロゲン化炭化水素、アルコール、水溶液に対して非常に高い耐性を備えています。熱水中での加水分解に対して卓越した耐性を示し、一般的な溶剤のほとんどに対してほぼ不溶です。
医療用途。PEEKは生体適合性と生体安定性を備え、X線透過性があります。耐久性に優れ、摩耗や化学的劣化への耐性も高いため、医療用インプラント、特に整形外科および脊椎用途で広く使用されています。
